Just a reminder that CD-ROM Today and The Disc are now being published on a monthly basis--that means twelve magazines and discs a year for you to enjoy. Don't miss a single page or a single byte!
The copy on the poly-bag promises an advance peek at extraordinary new game Gadget. We did receive the disc directly from Tokyo, but something got lost in the translation--running it would mean renaming your hard drive (and we didn't think you'd want to do that!). But we'll definitely try to get another runnable version for you on a subsequent disc. In its place, Mac readers are getting a preview of the Interactive Star Trek Manual.
Once again, there are no Internet files on DISC! #5 (well, actually there are a few items of Internet interest in the Mac shareware folder) and very few PC shareware files. We're sorry about that, but we just didn't have the room left over after the disc was packed with all the other mainstream programs and commercial demos.
